Welcome to our Quarter 2 Elevate Ruler Subscription Box!
This quarter we are focusing on the quilt blocks called Arrows! The Arrows block is a 16 patch quilt block. The 16-patch quilt block, a quilt pattern consisting of 16 squares, has roots in American quilting dating back to the early 1800s and is thought to have been inspired by weaving designs.
We take a fun twist by positioning the fabric to create 3 arrows. When combined with 4 or more blocks you can create a stunning quilt pattern.
Join us as our educators share various ways to create this block and use it in projects along with other goodies included in your Quarter 2 box you will learn to create some fun spring inspired projects.

Kathy Clawson
Kathy was raised by a mother who instilled a love for sewing, leading her to design and create her own clothes, bags, and quilts. After discovering Westalee Rulers and Templates, Kathy combined them with her free-motion quilting skills to create unique, professional quilts.
Nanne Panne
ge of 9. In 2010, she started teaching bag design and construction, focusing primarily on leather work. 5 years later, Nanne started quilting, and in March 2020, she started quilting with Westalee Design Templates and Rulers. Having tried quilting on a long arm machine, she was drawn to the ability to quilt at home on a domestic sewing machine.
Mendy Tippets
Mendy got her first taste of sewing at age 8, sewing her own clothes. She was so enthusiastic she turned a bed sheet into a dress and wore it to school! Mendy continued sewing for many years while making clothes for her children and then in late 2009 her and her family purchased the company Sew Steady.
Mendy’s enthusiasm for sewing turned to quilting with the introduction of Westalee Design Templates. Mendy is a Westalee Design Accredited Teacher, and shares her love of designing, fabrics and our Westalee Design Templates.
