Hi, I'm Jenny Totterdell

Master Quilter, Embroiderer and Sew Steady Promoted Instructor

I was given my first sewing machine
at around 10 an old shuttle bobbin Jones machine to make my dolls clothes on. I was still
making my own clothes on it at 21 when I purchased my first electric machine.

Over the years I have made my own clothes and enjoyed cross stitch. I also did some jewelry making, bead weaving and silversmithing. I actually have my own Hallmark in
the UK for my silver work.

Quilting did not join my list of crafts till mid 2016 when I started piecing tops for a friends project, to make quilts for children relocated to the UK from war zones. After a bad attempt at FMQ I was introduced to Westalee Rulers and I received my first set for Christmas that year.
Machine Embroidery did not start until 2022 with the Starry Nights collection. I was soon hooked. I ended up making 3 quilts and a lap quilt from that collection. The original 16
block ruler quilt, then the 16 ruler blocks with additional embroidery blocks and also my Shepherds Delight embroidery quilt. The lap quilt was the test for the ruler and embroidery
quilt.
Now I am retired spend a lot of my time sewing. playing on my embroidery machine and
with my rulers. Click Here to Learn More about Jenny.
