Hope In Bloom
Size: Approximately 80” square
Hope in Bloom is a beautiful line of fabric designed by Katherine Lenius for Riley Blake Designs emphasizing Breast Cancer Awareness.
We will be using this lovely fabric to create an 80” square quilt perfect for a throw size quilt for you or for gifting to a friend or relative.
The quilt is a 16 block quilt with sashing and cornerstones (all blocks are the same). The center of the star looks like a pieced 16-patch block but … it is a cheater print.
You will learn how to create Flying Geese units (4 at a time), secrets to perfect points, how to quilt a larger quilt and sew much more! Donelle has a lot of tips and hints to improve your piecing and template quilting skills. And this quilt is not difficult to quilt; the RIBBON DESIGN that runs through the Sashing strips is very quick to stitch.
Enjoy!
