Zoom Jewel Quilt Course 2023-2024
Join Angie for a 12 part virtual Quilt course:
Some previous experience of basic ruler work is a sign-up requirement to join this course but all patterns and templates used will be taught and demonstrated in detail with access to recorded tutorials between live classes. You will not be required to stitch during the live sessions, these will be for
observing design demonstrations, asking questions and quilt progress sharing. The first session will be dedicated to ensuring everyone gets online and to discuss preparing for the course, equipment, fabric, thread, wadding and the course outline.
Course outline:
8 places, 7-9pm BST/GMT: 11am PST/1pm CDT & 2pm EDT (Wednesday late morning/early afternoon)
• Full course over 12 sessions (approx 8 months)
• Live Sessions 1-2hrs max
• Access to video recordings of each session to playback in your own time (for the duration of the course and at least 12 months afterwards)
• Small group sizes to ensure time for interaction (approx 8)
• Private Support Group to share your progress and support others
•Course Fee: $250 (can be paid in instalments), $62.50 deposit to secure your place plus 3 further instalments. (See Pricing Below)

After a successful career as a graphic designer/art director spanning over 20 years, in 2010 Angela embarked upon a new career path in textiles, following her passion to ‘make’. After studying C&G’s Machine Embroidery and Innovative Textiles, she designed and produced a small range of textile art kits whilst working as a sales consultant and demonstrator of sewing machines. Her kits emerged from being invited to design for ‘Stitch’, The Embroiderers’ Guild magazine.
